Right, you should be able to work out how it works... enter a colour into the 'Team' box, click Preview to see if it's recognised, Submit to commit yourself to this folly. Oh, and we may as well play a game whilst we're at it: Teal.
I really don't think you're trying hard enough: aquamarine [Raak] I expect you'll be able to track down the list of colours I've purloined without too much difficulty :) I'd like to leave it as a challenge at least until the game ends. As to why I don't just copy the colours - I'm not sure which browsers understand which colour names, so thought it was easiest to generate the hex that they can all speak. (Plus, none of them know Hampster).
So, you've all found a list then? :) For those who haven't, here's one. There are still Things To Do, like internationalise the spelling of grey, and maybe make the algorithm make a reasonable guess if you don't get the name exactly right. (Note that capitalisation and spacing is irrelevant, though).
Darkkhaki, without the space... I remember I used to have my name this colour over at YAMCS... Wow, Yet Another Mornington Crescent Server, that takes me back...
Moving towards green chartreuse. [Tuj] Well, this game was intended as a kind of warm-up to test out the team colours I suggest we head to Peach Puff as quick as we can and then start a proper team game.
[Raak] I wasn't sure at first, but having thought about it, this wouldn't be too difficult. As you may have spotted, I'm a fan of a simple UI so I need to think a bit about how to do it unobtrusively. Oh, and I need to move house, but I'll get a Round Tuit.
