Bank. Pah! You ammateurs. Can't you perform at this level without Mumsie there to hold your hand? This is Mornington Crescent in its purest form, and even a child should be versed enough to manage without a guide book when playing under open conditions. Oh, this is going to be a walkover. *Rubs hands with glee*
LV now a blistering 789.622. This is Ruttsborough, surely? Shall we go .. er ..beyond Ruttsborough? Let's burst through the barriers of convention and freewheel up the fast lane of anarchy! yes yes yes! Gospel Oak - executing a reverse shunt into Boolbar to send him hurtling into the barrier at Beckton on the DLR *mwahahahahaha-ing*
Oh, bless. You're all so cute when you try. Still, even though this is a game for grown ups, I'll ease up on you all a little 'til you find your feet. Trafalgar.
Your attempts, Korky to fox me by initiating a "Sideways-Counter-Rabbit" manouvre, while not work, as I'm well educated in the principles espoused by the great Masters, such as Heptonstall and Puttbadger. I'm tempted to try and formulate a "Helsinki" Defence, but that would make this laughably easy, so rather I'll opt for Tooting Bec, and pull off a "Pie-Ball Reverse", closing down every Diagonal South of the Thames. Hah!
*Rubbing his sore nose* Luckily the DLR only has a weak diagonal coefficient and as such avoids Thrax' Pie-Ball Reverse due to the current high LV. South Quay using Goodwin's Third Rule and I'll pick up those purple podumes that Chalky dropped during her reverse shunt. Ha!
Hmmmm. I like a challenger who comes back for more. I think I'll redress the issue of the Beck's Co-effecient, and double the Snoods at Pall Mall, by playing Bayswater. *Cackles maniacially* I'm so mauve.
I say, chaps, can anyone play? Or is this turning into a Lockisseum match 'tween Mssrs Snagandorf and Thrax? In any case, I think I shall interject at Knightsbridge.
Most flattered to have you with us, LotUS. It's open season here. Hop in, if you dare.
Hmmm, you're certainly picking it up quickly, Snags. Was I correct in inferring from your earlier statement that you're a beginer, or where you trying to lull us all into a false sense of security? In any event, you show promise, lad/lass. That was a most impressive move, worthy of respect among established, seasoned players all. Indeed, Full Reverse Waffles can be deadly while they're still hot. I'm getting outta the way until this one cools down. Fortunately I'm always prepared for eventuallities like this. And thus, for this move, I shall - mercilessly - **Farkle!!!** Heh heh.
you are correct to assume i am a beginer as this is my first true game(i ahve played many against the java applet) but do not concider me an amature, i have spent three days learning the rules and now that the waffles have cooled for many hours i can play Kenton and double my life total.(although i still am not certan if we each have our own player tokens or if there is one community token that we all move)
Finaly this game has enough upward momentum that i can Farkle! twice in the same turn without throwing us into the dreaded double farkle spiral of doom.
Camden, and declaring home stations at Picadilly and Victoria. Snags, for a beginner you show promise, Sir or Madam(which are you?). I'm sure you'll understand that this is why I came out at you so aggressively in the opening phase. My philosophy is always to stamp hard on the new bloods and see how they handle themselves. I do this in the hope that they'll not merely survive, but also thrive under pressure, becoming stronger as a result. Evil Doctor Thrax, as I am known to some, is not entirely without compassion you know. In any event, I'm impressed by how well you handled yourself back there. Respect earned, and given. *doffs hat.*
Since Thrax seems to be playing rather a lot in this game, I have ample opportunity to study the intended style and position before plunging in. In this case, with Lancaster Gate, for maximum inconvenience - nothing personal, but I'm not about to let anybody get too far ahead purely through overactivity ;-)
since this game seems to be slowing down one turn should last long enough to play all four Acton's, thats right north south east and west all in one verry long turn. now are you happy JLE?
