Animal-Vegetable-Mineral-Abstract: The Pants Memorial Game
help
The chairperson selects an object/idea/whatever and announces whether it's animal, vegetable, mineral, and/or abstract. The others have to ask questions to figure out what it is. Whomever guesses the object correctly is given the chair for the next round; repeat ad nauseam.

Has it been touched by human hand?
Trying to establish in what sense it's 'abstract'...
Inkspot: yes. rab: no -- if it could be touched, it wouldn't be abstract, surely?
Is it the Holy Grail?
Just jumping in on the off-chance.
and if not... is it a metal object?
covering two bases...
Does it exist in printed form?
LotUS: no; yes, mostly, I think. Btd: while it has been written about, the thing itself is not something printed.
The Pearly Gates?
Has it religious connections?
Wild stab and a question. Back to the grind stone!
An aethiometer?
I think Inkspot is on to something here...
Is it a weapon?
Inkspot: no, and no. Btd: no. LotUS: YES!
Excalibur?
Is it the dagger the lady McBethh saw?
Just thinking of a weapon that could not be touched, and has been written about.
The Sword in the Stone
As I think it's a different sword than Excalibur.
The Sword of Damocles?
If not, is it *a* sword?
snorgle: no. Inkspot: no. snorgle: no. Ibid: no, and no.
[Raak] I think we're misunderstanding each other - if it's not mythical, then surely it exists and has been touched by human hand... but anyway, the two things I was thinking (Holy Grail and Excalibur) have both been suggested so I'll pass, and these are both wrong anyway....
Thor's hammer - Mjollnir?
Is it a bladed weapon?
Was it written about in a play (first)?
