I think it's Richmond - is that right?
My first can be WRITTEN but cannot be DRAWN
My second's in SUNSET but never at DAWN
My third is in PIRATE but not JOHNNY DEPP
My fourth's in a MAINSAIL but not in a STEP
My fith is in HAMMER but not on the NAIL
My sixth's not in DOLDRUMS but found in a GALE
Has our rhyme gone astray, or is it just me?
My seventh in MOUNTAINS and MOLEHILLS is found [Kim] Astray how? It makes sense to me so far...
My eighth, of course, is in the UNDERGROUND
My ninth's nicely ROUNDED not thin like a STICK
My tenth's in ADOBE but not in a BRICK
My elevenses have RICH TEA but nary a HOB NOB
My twelfth's keen on WENDY but doesn't like BAD BOB (Rex the Runt reference)
My whole sounds much like a command of some kind
But's not coloration but a station you'll find.
(Personally, I think it's more fun not to give the answer, otherwise anyone who reads this game won't have the opportunity to solve the riddles for themselves.)

My first's in the GARDEN but not in the SHED.

My second's in FOLLOWED but never in LED
My third is in LIMP and never in Hard
My fourth's not in CENTAUR, but CAMELEOPARD
My fifth is in ASHES and PHOENIX as well
My sixth is in CRAB but not in its SHELL
My seventh's in PARSLEY but never in THYME
My eighth is in GAOL but without any CRIME
My ninth is in both PARANORMAL and STRANGE
My tenth's not in FARMLAND but found on the GRANGE
My eleventh part CYCLES but can't drive a CAR
My twelfth and the last is NEARBY not AFAR.

[Interesting how this could have been either of two possibilities until the seventh letter. Producing two station names from one set of clues might be a challenge for the future ...]
[Chalky] I've generally tried to leave most or all of the existing options open when adding a move.
[Raak] Absolutely the best strategy .. and I hasten to add that I was unaware when I posted letter seven that I was narrowing it down to just the one station. Never mind - I'll be more open-minded in future :-)
[Everyone] I suggest also that someone provide a "my whole is...." with a more or less cryptic clue. See Tuj's one for Turnham Green (yes, I got it in the end, derr....) which is very much in keeping with traditional riddle-making and kind of rounds the whole off quite nicely.
[Chalky] I deliberately kept it open for my move 5. Dunno about the others.
I have to admit that I didn't - I hadn't realised there might be more than one answer after five moves. Shall we have another one?

My first is in SECONDS but not in HOURS
My second's in GARDENS but not in the FLOWERS
My third is quite GAMIN and not so ADULTE
I'd better be WARY so not to cause FAULT
My fifth is in GOUACHE but nowhere in OILS
My sixth duels with SABRES but never with FOILS
My seventh's ECLECTIC, PRETENTIOUS as well
My eighth is a BUYER with nothing to SELL
My ninth is in CORAL but nowhere near REEF
My tenth's in LAMB CUTLET and also ROAST BEEF
My eleventh's in DIDGERIDOO but not FLUTE
And my whole's a trunk road which is never called 'cute'

Can I just mention that if Tuj's move 8 had been "My eighth's in URCHIN and also in WAIF, the answer could have been East India?
