Make your advent moves according to the date, preceeded by your choice of milk or plain. We all know the winning move, which is behind the final door.
And so it begins...
penelope - Opening the door of my Milk podume on 1st December, I'm having tea at the Ritz right by Green Park
Software - Opening the elephant logo door. Ooh! A plain strile! Filled with Christmas spirit swiftly on to Baker Street
penelope - BBbbzzztttt! You didn't check the date, Softers...
Chalky - Opening the 3rd December door which presents a Plain and [frankly rather dull] straddle over Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square but which [rather surprisingly] gifts a dress circle seat for some current musical madness.
Oh yes - this move scuppers anybody else's chance of posting in this game before midnight .... sorrysorrysorry
penelope - I can see this game is going to be particularly competitive. Who stays up late wins, and all that.
Software - [pen] Damn, the door fell onto the floor and I lost the date among the silver paper.
Tuj - Ah-ha! 4th of December for me, a milk chocolate penguin at Aldwych.
Phil - Door number 5 reveals a white chocolate stetson and glasses - yes, the Milky Barbicans are on me!
Tuj - Me again? Don't mind if I do!
...oh, it's a plain chocolate *farkle*. How boring.
Tuj - And that was the 6th's. I think Softers got the 12th by accident but we'll see.
penelope - No-one picked up the 7th!! A slightly less-than-fresh plain cherry parfait in Moor Park. Yum.
CdM - Sneaking in after midnight Singapore time to pick up Milk Choc Farm on the 9th.
Software - Hurrah! It's the 10th! Mmmmm! A Neasden flavoured Santa.
penelope - [Softers] But is it milk or plain???
Software - [pen] If it's Neasden flavoured it must be plain.
penelope - *Notes the date is the 11th but spots that no-one has opened the door of the 8th* Eeeuuuuw. A milk Dollis Hill for the 8th. I bet it repeats on me.
Tuj - Not that I'd know anything about it, but all the ones from 13th to 23rd were milk Dollis Hills as well. And I feel rather ill.
Tuj - So, guess we'll have to wait 'til next Christmas now, eh?
Dollis Hill anyone?
penelope - I'm going to eat the remainder of the chocolates when I get to my new home in the Netherlands on Friday, with a coffee. By then. I think I will have deserved them.
Chalky - .. and finally, farewell the 24th day of December 2008 - take this Chocolate Orange up the Northern Line to Mornington Crescent and enjoy its dark sticky secrets while no-one is looking.
Audience
*shouts, screams, generally goes wild for Chalky*
peneloopij - Well done missus. I had just about done it myself the other night when my connection broke just as I was about to swallow and I didn't have the stomach to vitually eat all of that chocolate all over again.
This is the end of the line. There is no more.
